ELECTRONICS RECYCLING SUCCESSFUL

Over 11 tons of material was collected in September at SECCRA’s third annual electronics recycling event.  Everything from televisions and computers to telephones and radios were brought to SECCRA to be recycled.

SECCRA’s recycling contractor, Envirocycle, is a dismantling firm.  That is, they take the electronics and dismantle them into individual pieces.  Each of these individual pieces can be reused instead of using raw materials in manufacturing new items.
