YARD WASTE DISPOSAL AT SECCRA

SECCRA accepts three different types of yard waste for disposal at the landfill, and each has its own pricing.  Most yard waste is recycled by composting, and mixed into soil that covers the trash daily.

Grass, leaves, chipped brush		Free up to 500 lbs* Otherwise $20/ton
Unchipped brush & limbs		$45/ton
Non-processable**		$52/ton

*  Residents only-no commercial use
**   If what you believe to be compostable material is not listed above, if it is mixed with any other material, or cannot be fed into our chipper, it has to be handled as trash and billed accordingly.

• Waste should not be bagged.  If you use bags, please empty them when you are here, then reuse or dispose of them.
• You must check in with weighmaster using the intercom at the entrance to the scale to tell them the type of yard waste you have.
• Dispose the material at the designated area
